Ethics Policy
Editorial Independence
MiningPool maintains a strict separation between editorial content and business operations. No advertiser, sponsor, or outside party has the ability to influence, review, or approve editorial content before publication. Reporters and editors make coverage decisions based solely on newsworthiness and reader interest.
Fact-Checking Standards
All claims of fact published by MiningPool are verified through at least one independent source before publication. For technical claims regarding hashrate, mining difficulty, or block rewards, we reference on-chain data directly. When a story relies on anonymous sources, the editor must independently verify the information or clearly label the claim as unverified.
Market data, including pricing and trading volumes, is sourced from established data providers and clearly attributed. Market data cited in articles reflects what was available at the time of publication.
Corrections Policy
We take factual accuracy seriously. When an error is identified in a published article, we issue a correction promptly. Minor typographical fixes are made silently. Substantive factual corrections are noted at the top of the article and recorded in our public corrections log.
If you believe an article contains an error, contact us at corrections@miningpool.news.
Conflicts of Interest
Staff members and contributors are required to disclose any cryptocurrency holdings or financial interests that could present a conflict when covering specific topics. These disclosures are reviewed by the editor-in-chief and, where relevant, noted alongside the author's byline. See our disclosures page for more detail.
Sponsored Content
Any content created in partnership with an advertiser or sponsor is clearly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Partner Content" and is visually distinguished from editorial articles. Sponsored content is never written by editorial staff.
