Arthur van Pelt tweeted a chart showing BSV had surpassed Ethereum, then posted: "Seems legit. Organic Growth I think. Has nothing to do with #CGLive I bet."

The activity coincided with the CoinGeek Live conference, which began yesterday at 9 AM Eastern time and runs through Friday. Whether the surge came from conference participants testing the network or another cause remains unclear. BSV has recorded unexplained spikes in the past. On July 10, transactions reached 5.5 million. In late June, active addresses topped one million.

Bitcoin Association President Jimmy Nguyen spoke at the conference, describing Bitcoin SV as "the foundational rule set for an entire network," intended for "re-inventing the internet." Nguyen said the protocol contains built-in incentives against bad actors.
