The company disclosed that it had added Neo to its platform and partnered with Coindash on new cryptocurrency products. Demand for digital asset trading tools has surged in recent months as mainstream investors have entered the cryptocurrency market.
CEO and founder Yoni Assia said the capital would fuel the company's rapid growth and expansion into new markets. "This round of investment will be critical in helping us to further develop our technology infrastructure to support the rapid growth that we've recently experienced," Assia said. "It will also help us to enter new markets, enabling us to bring our social approach to investing to more people around the world, and providing more people with safe and secure access to the markets."
As technology reshapes the financial industry, Assia wants eToro positioned at the forefront of that transformation. "As new technology continues to change finance, we want to remain at the forefront of that change," he said. "So today's announcement will help us to continue our market-leading work in blockchain research and the development of digital assets."
eToro operates a social trading platform connecting 9 million users worldwide. The company built its business on the principle that financial markets should be accessible to ordinary people, not just financial institutions. With this funding, eToro deepens its cryptocurrency operations at a pivotal moment when mainstream investors have moved into digital assets.
