Fabien Aufrechter, a consultant based at Havas's Paris headquarters, serves as the initiative's leader. Discussing the venture's inception, Aufrechter remarked: "As leader of record in financial communications, Havas Paris is the natural go-to agency for ICOs, which are set for significant growth. This new field of financial communications, aimed at both traditional investors and the cryptocurrency community, will rely more specifically on community engagement, social media and public relations".
The venture brings together Havas's extensive communications capabilities with the AMO network's considerable reach, which boasts particular strength throughout Asia—a region where blockchain activity and ICO ventures are flourishing. The organization targets a position as the preeminent global provider of ICO advisory and blockchain communications support. Throughout 2017, ICO campaigns accumulated billions in capital, yet the sector faced significant challenges as approximately fifty percent experienced failure. Through comprehensive advisory support, Havas believes it can enhance ICO viability and durability.
Beyond supporting new token offerings, Havas Blockchain will deliver mentorship, educational programs, and communications strategy to businesses already engaged with blockchain implementations. The partnership has achieved operational status and is currently engaged with its first project. Spring 2018 brings the first official launch of this collaboration: Talao, an ICO for what claims to be the world's first blockchain platform enabling freelancers across all sectors to connect with corporate organizations. As compensation for its services, Havas will acquire tokens associated with this venture.
Claire Balva, Chief Executive at Blockchain Partner, expressed comparable optimism: "Havas Blockchain's communications expertise and Havas Group's international reach will open up a new dimension for our clients' blockchain projects. AMO network agencies, especially in Asia, will be invaluable in communicating directly with cryptocurrency investors".
