PodMiners, which markets itself as the first blockchain-based platform promoting freedom of speech, is partnering with TranslateMe Network to offer podcast transcripts in thousands of languages.

TranslateMe Network operates a translation service supporting 6500 languages. The network trains its algorithms by collecting corrections from millions of human contributors, then combines those improvements with machine learning. The system gets better as human translators catch errors and suggest fixes.

PodMiners founders say the partnership fills a gap for podcasters wanting to reach international audiences without hiring professional translators for each language. Avinash Chauhan, the company's founder and CEO, outlined the reasoning: "Many people prefer to read newspapers, watch videos, or listen to content in their regional languages. One creator can't make content in all those languages. Translation tools exist online, but they don't produce good results. TranslateMe uses blockchain and machine learning to translate both text and speech, combining automation and human work. The system improves over time. We joined with them so our deaf and hard-of-hearing audience could find text transcriptions and read content in their own languages."

The platform launched a free beta version. Content creators can upload pre-recorded episodes or broadcast live with a built-in calling feature. PodMiners plans to launch its ICO private sale in August 2019.

PodMiners' blockchain foundation removes middlemen from the distribution chain, cutting ad fraud, payment delays, and third-party interference that plague podcasters.

Jason Daniel Paul Philip, CEO and founder of ABBC Foundation, joined PodMiners. ABBC is building a blockchain payment system using facial recognition for security. The company launched a crypto-friendly e-commerce store and is preparing to open Bitstorm, a new cryptocurrency exchange.
