Tobelet, a Singapore company, has announced a partnership with DeepBrainChain to power DataXchain, its marketplace for trading data. The platform establishes commercial value for digital assets—images, videos, music, information—allowing these items to be bought and sold through a decentralized system.
Under the arrangement, DeepBrainChain operates as a Super Peer on the DataXchain network, verifying transactions and maintaining records to protect the blockchain against hacks, power failures and system crashes. DeepBrainChain collects a share of trading revenue based on the computing power and blockchain services it provides.
The backbone of DataXchain is Uyuni, an AI platform developed by Xiilab, South Korea's leading AI operator. Uyuni supports simultaneous deep learning across multiple tracks and processes data flowing through the system at scale. DeepBrainChain contributes GPU computing resources to handle the workload. The company's infrastructure scales on demand and optimizes for maximum GPU performance, with automatic maintenance built in. AI enterprises using DeepBrainChain see hardware costs drop by up to 70%.
The DataXchain ecosystem includes four participant types: data owners, data users, data labelers and data inspectors. These can be individuals, companies, organizations or governments. Tobelet is in conversations with potential participants across each category and has issued a public call for any entity interested in joining the network to contribute to data flows.
Baek Yong Chang, CEO of Tobelet, called it "a significant kickstarter in DataXchain's journey to promote the adoption our data trading system and transform the dynamics of data ownership in the current world." He elaborated: "As DataXchain and its scale of data trading expands, a partnership as such is beneficial as we will have additional computing resources and be able to learn new and relevant AI expertise from DeepBrainChain. With DeepBrainChain's own ecosystem of AI applications, data traffic imported from DeepBrainChain will also enrich DataXchain's AI capabilities through more extensive data learning. In addition, we believe that the benefits are mutual as DeepBrainChain can also conduct data learning from its role as a Super Peer and apply this knowledge in the AI applications that operate in its own ecosystem. Moving forward, we will continue to explore more partnerships with other leading AI and database companies to expand the potential of DataXchain and be a key player in this market space."
DeepBrainChain marks itself as the world's first and only blockchain-powered AI application development platform. The company supports AI development by providing GPU computing resources and hosting applications on its blockchain infrastructure. This model accelerates AI progress amid the proliferation of smart devices, growing data demands and surging computational needs.
