Note: We previously published 2,500 W for this model, which was wrong — the datasheet figure is 2,780 W. The published efficiency of 3.31 J/Ksol confirms it (2,780 ÷ 840). The correction lowers its break-even electricity price by roughly a tenth. Sound ratings vary between 72 dB and 75 dB, so none is listed.

The miner's self-mining hashrate rose to 79.9 EH/s and production was up about 249 percent from a year earlier, but its bitcoin balance ended the month at 61 coins, against 257 a month earlier and 1,934 a year ago. The company's own footnote says the figure counts coins pledged as collateral, which rules out one explanation for the drop.
The Ways and Means Committee marked up H.R. 10357 on Wednesday morning, a day after the CLARITY Act stalled in the Senate. The bill waives tax on network fees of $10 or less from 2028, but settles only that staking and mining rewards are ordinary income, not when they are taxed.
Nearly 2.4 million ZEC took part, about two-thirds of the eligible supply, and 98.9 percent chose bitcoin-style halvings over a smoothed issuance curve. The result is advisory: NU7 still needs code, testing and a ZIP activation.
